Covered Sun Films is launching a subscription service that will allow users exclusive access and sneak peeks for as low as $5/month.

Covered Sun Films is introducing a new subscription service that will give users a chance to support independent film in return for behind-the-scenes photos and videos, interviews, podcasts, special contest opportunities and even early access to new projects. Limited access is FREE and pricing starts as low as $5 per month.

Covered Sun Films came into existence in 2016 and released its first major project in 2020. As the company begins its eigth year in existence, their plans are bigger than ever.

“We’re shooting a short film titled Mercury that I’m really excited about before 2024 even arrives. That should be available early next year.” Wayne Cella, founder of Covered Sun Films said recently.

“We released another short film, Passerby, which was written by Kalin Fisher on Thanksgiving. And we have a ton of stuff, including more Talisman and insignificant, a number of short films as well as a feature film that’s already written. It’s a full slate.”

Between the series Talisman and insignificant the studio has amassed 37 awards, 80 nominations and 30 festival selections.

“It was important to us to engage our audience and also provide them with value in return for their support. Making films is very costly, and anything we can do to defray those costs is a plus and ensures we can continue to produce high quality films.” Cella said of the Patreon launch. “We’re excited to do some ‘Dinner with the Director’ events and Ask Me Anything sessions as well as interviews with cast and crew past and present.

“We’ve tried to craft stories that people can relate to, are moved by and are entertained by. We’re excited to have some of our fans come along and help us continue to tell meaningful stories.”
