Mercury, the latest offering from Covered Sun Films finally has a release date. The short film, produced in December 2023, is written and Directed by Wayne F. Cella and will launch exclusively on the Reveel Network on Wednesday, July 3rd.

“Reveel has been a second home for Covered Sun and we’re grateful to get to work with such an amazing team again.” Cella told us recently. “Reveel is such a great platform with such diverse and amazing films, we felt it would be the perfect place for Mercury.”

Mercury tells the story of estranged friends meeting for the first time in decades to discuss their failed friendship.

“Sometimes we have these friendships come into our lives and we’re either not prepared for them or prepared for what they mean to us. So they leave our lives. Sometimes we don’t think twice about them and sometimes they haunt us. For me, these particular friendships haunted me for a long time. And Mercury is about that.” Cella said. “And sometimes the truth is stranger than fiction.”

While Mercury will premiere on July 3, both Talisman and insignificant are currently available on Reveel, along with a host of amazing series, short films, documentaries and feature films from around the world. Check them out here.
